As Wednesday night turns into Thursday morning around the world, millions of bottles of a French wine called Beaujolais nouveau will be uncorked. It's not because this young, fruity vintage is particularly fantastic, but because, according to French law, it cannot be sold before the third Thursday in November.
This, mes amis, is a great excuse for a party, full of wine, dancing and Francophile fun.
